Additional Processing

Not every manufacturing step takes centre stage – but for a finished component, it can still be essential. With additional processing, we add functional details to laser-cut, bent, or welded parts for assembly and downstream processing. Even in simple, recurring operations, we rely on economical workflows, digital control, and consistent process quality.

Typical Additional Processing Steps

We carry out further processing steps in-house and coordinate them with the component, batch size, and downstream process.

  • Thread cutting
  • Drilling and countersinking
  • Creating fits
  • Insertion of fastening elements
  • Pressing and embossing

Automation of Recurring Processes

Even in simple, labour-intensive processing steps, we have relied on automation for years wherever it makes technical and economic sense. CNC-controlled threading and drilling machines, suitable fixtures, and defined workflows enable efficient processing of recurring parts.

  • CNC-controlled threading and drilling operations
  • Templates and fixtures for stable workflows
  • Reduced workload and greater process reliability in repetitive tasks

Special Machines and Toolmaking

Alongside standard machines, we also use special solutions for specific applications. Thanks to our in-house toolmaking, we can tailor fixtures and tools precisely to components, processes, and series production.

  • Special machines for selected processing steps, e.g. automated radial riveting machines
  • In-house fixtures and tools
  • Flexible solutions for different components
  • Digital control as the standard for traceable processes

Cost Efficiency and Process Quality

Many of these steps are standard processes – what matters is their reliable and economical execution. Through automated workflows, digital control, and suitable fixture technology, we achieve high repeatability and stable quality across different batch sizes.

  • Economical for small and large series
  • Reduced manual non-productive time
  • High process reliability in recurring tasks
  • Consistent quality
  • Coordinated workflows for assembly and downstream processing
